Taking an active part within our community remains to be part of our ongoing mission at Air Partners. Our team continually devote their time in aid of worthy causes to strengthen our shared belief of interdependence between business and society.
Our latest venture took us to Calgary Interfaith Foodbank where we all participated in sorting incoming food donations and assembling food hampers in the 60,000 square foot industrial warehouse located in SE Calgary. The Foodbank is dedicated to gathering and distributing quality emergency food to families and individuals in temporary crisis, with volunteerism as a primary resource. Two-thirds of the Food Bank is powered by volunteers. As a non-government agency from its early church basement beginnings in the 1980’s following the economic slump and high unemployment rates across Calgary, the Foodbank steadily outgrew its accommodations a number of times, with their now permanent facility at 5000 11St SE.
